The administrator of the SISALMONI benchmark

FinanceAgri administers, from Paris, benchmarks for agricultural and seafood commodities, including SISALMONI, the Atlantic salmon price index. The company is part of the Sitagri group.

A regulated administrator

FinanceAgri has been registered as a benchmark administrator under the EU Benchmarks Regulation (BMR) since 14 April 2020. It is supervised by the French Autorité des marchés financiers and listed in the ESMA register under number BMR2020001187.

A benchmark at the heart of a market

SISALMONI 3-6 kg is the settlement price of the European Salmon Futures contract listed on Euronext. It replaced the Nasdaq Salmon Index in 2024, continuing the series published since 2013, with strengthened technical requirements.

Two teams, two cities

Data collection and analysis take place in Rennes. Index administration takes place in Paris, in a team that is hierarchically independent, as the methodology requires.
